Gansu Hailin Zhongke Science and Technology Co., Ltd. is one of the first High-Tech Enterprises recognized in Gansu Province. The company operates multiple provincial-level innovation and research platforms, including the Provincial Enterprise Technology Center, Gansu Bearing Engineering Technology Research Center, Provincial Industrial Design Center, Gansu Provincial Key Laboratory of Vibration, Noise and Reliability, and the Gansu Automotive Bearings and Components Engineering Research Center. It is also a standard-setting member of the National Rolling Bearing Standardization Technical Committee and was approved to establish a Postdoctoral Research Workstation in 2023.
The technology R&D center comprises four specialized laboratories: a Physical and Chemical Laboratory, a Metrology and Testing Center, a Life Testing Laboratory, and a Fluid Testing Laboratory. Among them, the Metrology and Testing Center and the Life Testing Laboratory have obtained CNAS accreditation.
The company currently employs 162 specialized engineering and technical personnel, including 6 with senior professional titles, 54 with intermediate titles, and 99 with junior titles. There are 40 product R&D engineers and 40 experimental research staff. In addition, the company has 5 members serving on professional committees within the bearing industry, 1 adjunct professor from Lanzhou University of Technology, 1 provincial-level leading science and technology talent, and 3 municipal-level leading science and technology talents from Tianshui City. The technology R&D center is capable of designing and developing bearings with special structures, special performance characteristics, and special applications according to customer requirements. Adhering to an industry–academia–research integration model, the company maintains technical cooperation with institutions such as the Lanzhou Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Luoyang Bearing Research Institute, Henan University of Science and Technology, Xi’an Jiaotong University, and Lanzhou University of Technology. Joint research is carried out on bearing friction technology, sealing technology, application analysis, materials and heat treatment, stress models, and failure modes, ensuring that HL consistently maintains a leading technological position in the domestic tapered roller bearing field. Over the past five years, the company has expanded its product structure toward unitized, integrated, and intelligent solutions, extending the industrial value chain to meet the market demand for high-performance bearings in emerging industries such as new energy vehicles, construction machinery, wind power, and agricultural machinery. In particular, the technical level of non-adjustable tapered roller bearings and pre-adjusted truck wheel hub units has reached a leading level in China.
